Buckeye Elks Lodge No. 2686

Become a member

Buckeye Elks Lodge No. 2686 is a community of friends who show up for each other. Good company, good causes, and a place that feels like home.

We support local students through scholarships, stand with our veterans, and bring neighbors together through dinners, fundraisers, and community events. Whether you're a lifelong member or just curious, there's a seat for you at the table.

You won't do this alone

When you reach out, a lodge officer will contact you personally. They'll answer your questions and walk you through every step, start to finish.

You're welcome to visit us, too: 109 N. 5th Street in Buckeye, open 4–8 pm on weekdays. Directions and hours

Who can join

To become an Elk, you need to be:

  • A U.S. citizen who will pledge allegiance to and salute the American flag
  • 21 or older
  • A believer in God
  • Of good character

These come from the rules every Elks lodge follows, and they're the same for men and women.

How it works

  1. Say hello

Fill out the form below, give us a call, or stop by. A lodge officer will reach out to get to know you and answer your questions.

  2. Apply with a member's support

Every application is proposed by a member of the Elks, your sponsor, and lists two references who are Elks. Don't know any Elks yet? Your lodge officer will help you with this step.

  3. Meet the committee

Your application is presented at a lodge meeting and goes to the lodge's Fraternal Committee, who meet with you in person and check the details.

  4. The members vote

After the committee reports and members have had at least a week's notice, the members vote by secret ballot at a lodge meeting.

  5. Orientation and initiation

Before you're initiated, you'll attend an orientation about the lodge and the good work Elks do, and your family is welcome to come too. Then, within four months of the vote, you're initiated at a lodge meeting, and you're officially an Elk.

The lodge meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 6 pm (just the second Wednesday in June, July and August).

Dues and fees

The initiation fee is $25, paid on the night you're initiated. Lodge dues are $47.75 a year, plus yearly Grand Lodge fees and state association dues. Your lodge officer will go over the full amount with you.
